Our terms

The business end of things

Eat Me, Drink me is all about giving you great quality catering, and assistance with all the other things that go hand in hand with creating a great event.

Firstly, drop us a line with a brief discription of your requirements, we’ll then get back in touch with an outline of what we can offer, and any suggestions that may help your event/wedding run smoothly. Every event we get involved in is bespoke, any menus on here are guides,  we’d be more than happy to work to your spec. We get to the ‘nitty gritty’ in advance, so that an accurate quote can be provided, meaning no hidden extras later on.

Next we arrange a face to face meeting, usually at our office and kitchen in Brighouse so we can show you what we do, and where we do it, as all catering is created here, and finished on site, be it marquee or venue.

If you’re then happy to employ our services, a booking form with full prices will be emailed to you, a non refundable deposit is required based on minimum numbers agreed to confirm the booking, with the balance payable 3 weeks prior to the event.

It's our aim to make every event a memorable and unique experience for both you and your family and friends, we work very closely with you, to make sure there are no serious last minute glitches, and everything is as it should be.
 

TERMS

Bookings are confirmed with a non refundable deposit after the final quote is given in writing, these are always based on a 'minimum' number requirement and if the numbers drop below the 'minimum' will need to be paid for

Quotes are only valid for one months, the price of any individual package items not confirmed with the initial booking will not stand if taken out at a later date.

Final balance payment for events is 3 weeks prior to the event, followed by a detailed table plan 2 weeks before.

Cancellations within one month of the event will incur 75% of total invoice

Cancellations within two months of event will incur 50% of total invoice

Cancellation within 5 months will will incure 25% of total invoice








A connected catering tent with tables, lighting and electricity supply is required for any event in a Teepee, Yurt, Marquee or fabric structure. We must have full access to be able to drive right up to it with a van and to be able to keep parked outside during our stay.

A deposit enters you into a contract for the package you have chosen at the initial booking stage, package add on's may be done at a later date but not removed.

Prices quoted are for the number of guests agreed, if numbers drop, the price may increase

We reserve the right to cancel any contracts not paid for in our agreed terms, if an event date changes we will endeavor to re arrange for the new date, but cannot guarantee it

Menu tastings are encouraged by ourselves, particularly for wedding catering, these will be arranged after booking has been confirmed with a deposit, and a final menu chosen. We do not charge for tastings.

All prices are inclusive of VAT

If timings of the event are changed for any reason, not by ourselves, (speech times changing, wedding photographer going past their allotted timeslot etc) we cannot fully guarantee the quality of the food.

Children over the age of 10 will be priced as an adult

All license applications for bars and temporary event notices will be made by ourselves and are included in the bar hire price

We have a team of professional staff, we will not tolerate any abusive, sarcastic, sexist or derogatory comments towards them, particularly from guests who may have been drinking. An event may be cancelled (during the event) if any staff member is abused in any way.

Signing the contract allows Eatme Drinkme to use any photo's taken from the day for future promotions.
